Voting Information One of the best sources for information about elections comes from the South Carolina State Election Commission. At their website, you can check your voter registration information to make sure are registered at your current residence. You can also learn about how to register to vote, change your registration information, and ask for an absentee ballot by contacting your county board of elections.
At our campaign, we are here to represent you and are more than willing to help make sure you are able to vote. Just contact us and we will provide you the assistance you need. You are encouraged to consider voting by absentee ballot. The easiest way to do so is to go to your county election office in the 30 days prior to the election and cast your ballot in person, just as you would on Election Day. Persons eligible to vote by absentee ballot include: 1. Students, their spouses, and dependents residing with them; 2. Persons serving the Armed Forces or Merchant Marine, spouses, and dependents residing with them; 3. Persons who have to work on Election Day; 4. Physically disabled persons; 5. Government employees, their spouses, and dependents residing with them; 6. Persons planning to be on vacation on Election Day; 7. Persons attending to sick or physically disabled persons; and 8.
